My personal appreciation, this is one of the best thriller films that I've seen with Bruce Willis. No matter all the mixed reviews you could read or hear about this movie, I personally believe it's a brilliant thriller. I totally enjoyed it when I went to watch it at the movie theaters, and have enjoyed it every single time I've watched it at home. Bruce Willis plays Jeff Tilley, an ex-LAPD hostage negotiator who's been working as a small town sheriff after facing the trauma of losing the hostages in a negotiation process back in LA. Tilley faces a new hostages situation in his small town, when three teenagers decide to break into the house of a rich accountant who works for some powerful illegal organizations. Tilley passes the hostages situation to the FBI, but on his way home, he's approached by a commando group of these illegal organizations and forces him to go back and take control of the negotiation and not let the FBI take control of the situation or they'll kill his family, who has already been kept in a van. Tilley will need to go back, re-gain the negotiation process and recover an important DVD that contains all their financial and sensitive information without being discovered. A great, violent and dark thriller that will keep you attached to your seat until the very last minute of this film. 100% Recommended!
What did I like from this movie?
1. The best scene in this movie was the moment when Tilley leaves after he transfers the hostage situation to the FBI, he stops to buy something and when he gets back to his car, he notices that he's trapped and already approached by these mysterious guys who force him to go back, take control of the situation again and complete their demands or they'd kill his family. Really good scene and drama
2. The fire effects at the last action scene, when Tilley kills the weird teenage and the bad guys trying to kill them and recover the DVD
3. The last scene when he gets in an ambulance to this old house and tries to negotiate/trade his family with the accountant, but ends up killing the leader of this commando team and kidnappers
4. I rally enjoyed the little kid. He played such a great role, even better than many other adults in this movie
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Most of the teenagers in this movie didn't show their talent as actors/actresses. The great performance was focused on Willis and the kid. Even though, the weird pyromaniac teenage was ok
I would rate this movie with a 5/5

Enjoy it!... Watch it!
Wow, if this is a "5" then I'll have to see it. I love Bruce!
Maybe too drastic for some people, but that's my personal vote. I could say it's Excellent, but I really, really enjoyed the plot and cast in this movie. It kept my attention from the very first minute up to the very end of the movie. I didn't even ate the sweets I got that night when I went to the movie theater!
I remember I went to see this one without even knowing the story behind the title, I just knew it was with Bruce Willis, and I assumed it would be good. It was perfect!
