Synopsis: Stranded in 1955, Marty must now travel to 1885 to rescue Doc Brown. Surviving Indian attacks and unfriendly townsfolk, its up to Marty to grab the love-struck Doc, leave the wild west and get back to the future.
Starring: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Mary Steenburgen, Thomas F. Wilson, Lea Thompson
Directed by: Robert Zemeckis, Max Kleven
U.S. Rating: PG
Once again, Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd bring the perfect combination. Lloyd's weirdness and Fox's personality bring a great entertainment for the third sequel of this successful franchise. Better than the second one, but not as good as the first one. I'm glad they haven't gone for a fourth sequel, since it would be such a complicated plot!
What did I like from this movie?
1. The script was better and more entertaining than the previous sequel. New characters involved in the story, but Zemeckis kept the original idea in this sequel
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Nothing. I believe that this franchise is unique in its kind!
I would rate this movie with a 4/5

Synopsis: It is Christmas Time and the McAllister family is preparing for a vacation in Paris, France. But, the youngest in the family named Kevin got into a scuffle with his older brother Buzz and was sent to his room which is on the third floor of his house. Then, the next morning, while the rest of the family were in a rush to make it to the airport on time, they completely forgot about Kevin who now has the house all to himself. Being home alone was fun for Kevin, having a pizza all to himself, jumping on his parents' bed and making a mess. Then, Kevin discovers about 2 burglars, Harry and Marv about to rob his house on Christmas eve. Kevin acts quickly by wiring his own house with makeshift booby traps to stop the burglars and to bring them to justice.
Starring: Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard, Roberts Blossom
Directed by: Chris Columbus
U.S. Rating: PG
Home Alone has become one of those classics that we all watch in every family reunion at Christmas time every single year. I had the chance to watch this movie just two days ago and even though I've watched this movie dozens of times, I never get tired of it. Macaulay Culkin will ever bee remembered as the little boy that was forgotten at home on Christmas Eve, no matter how old he might get. A great classic comedy for all ages with such a fresh and funny script.
What did I like from this movie?
1. I really enjoy all the smart tricks and things Kevin does to defend the house against the two burglars, when he asks for pizza and uses the tv scenes against the pizza delivery boy and when he goes to get some supplies at the supermarket
2. Such a great cast chosen for this movie
3. The end of the movie, plus the message was really enjoyable
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Even though the sequels weren't that bad, this is one of those movies that didn't need a sequel (my personal opinion, since it's a classic)
I would rate this movie with a 4/5

Starring: Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Goldwyn, Stanley Lawrence
Directed by: Jerry Zucker, Steven Charles Jaffe
U.S. Rating: PG-13
One of the classics that everyone should watch. Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore worked the perfect match for this movie, with the great role of Whoopi Goldberg as the semi-phony spiritualist. I never watched it on the big screen, I watched it months later, when it came to VHS (oh my!) . I didn't feel motivated to go to the theaters, no matter the great comments and critics heard about this one. When I saw the movie for the first time I could understand why it has been considered one of the mega-blockbusters of all times. The plot and romantic scenes are the perfect combination for a date night, no matter how many times you've watched this movie. Even though Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore were the perfect couple for this story, I personally believe Whoopi Goldberg stole the show with her supporting role. No wonder why this movie was nominated to the Oscar that year and reached two statues that night! A classic 100% recommended.
What did I like from this movie?
1. The scenes at the subway with the Subway Lord. The crazy old man plays such a really good role there
2. The scene when Swayze meets Ghoopi and talks with her. Such a funny moment, she's being a phony spiritualist, but the truth is that she had that gift
3. the scene when Swayze goes back to Ghoopi's room and finds her surrounded by dozens of dead people trying to talk with her
4. Of course, the trademark scene... the romantic scene when they're on their room playing with the vase
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Well, if you watch this movie today, you might find some crappy CGI effects, but knowing that it was 1990, it was ok for the technology at that time
I would rate this movie with a 5/5
