In the years since MI-7's top spy vanished off the grid, he has been honing his unique skills in a remote region of Asia. But when his agency superiors learn of an attempt against the Chinese premier's life, they must hunt down the highly unorthodox agent. With one shot at redemption, he must employ the latest in hi-tech gadgets to unravel a web of conspiracy that runs throughout the KGB, CIA and even MI-7. Starring: Rowan Atkinson, Gillian Anderson, Pierce Brosnan, Dominic West, Rosamund Pike
Directed by: Oliver Parker
U.S. Rating: PG
It's been a while since the first Johnny English was released. I couldn't say that I enjoyed that first one back in 2003, but it was one of those films that you can sit and watch on a boring Sunday afternoon.Never felt motivated to go and watch it on the big screen, just months after being released, got it on DVD. It didn't actually happened with this sequel, 8 years later. Johnny English Reborn is not quite better than the first one, but I must admit that made me laugh more than the first one, and actually get enough motivated to go and watch it on the theatre. Not the best comedy watched this year, but at least was goofy and funny enough to make me laugh a few times.
Jhonny English Reborn is just an old-fashioned British humor, an easy-to-watch film played by one unique actor (Rowan Atkinson), known worldwide as Mr. Bean, the goofy person with no dialogue making all kind of dumb things and getting into crazy funny situations. This time, Rowan Atkinson comes with a fresh, smoother and better-looking comedy, playing one more time the role of Jhonny English, the top secret British spy who's learning martial arts in Tibet as penance for an earlier disastrous mission. The MI7 - British Intelligence Agency (codenamed Toshiba British Intelligence) identifies him as the best agent for a new mission: stopping a group of international assassins before they kill the Chinese premier and cause global chaos. Now that the world needs him once again, Johnny English returns to his role with gusto. The adventure trying to stop this group of international assassins will make you have some really good laughs.
I would totally recommend it if you're looking for some good laughs watching a light and goofy comedy.
I would rate this movie with a 3.5/5

Synopsis: A plastic surgeon, romancing a much younger schoolteacher, enlists his loyal assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant's kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives.

Starring: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Nick Swardson, Brooklyn Decker, Bailee Madison, Griffin Gluck, Dave Matthews, Kevin Nealon, Rachel Dratch, Allen Covert, Dan Patrick, Minka Kelly
Directed by: Dennis Dugan
U.S. Rating: PG-13
It's been a long run for Adam Sandler. I've watched almost every single one of his films and enjoyed most of his work. There has been some crappy films or roles performed in the past, but he's been one of those persistent actors and that has helped him to improve on his work and talent. I do believe his latest films have been more than entertaining. Probably because he's been working with such amazing and talented people and picked some really good plots. Just Go With It is one of those great films with a pretty entertaining and funny plot and an amazing cast.
Just Go With It brings the story of Danny Maccabee, a successful plastic surgeon in Los Angeles who suffered a traumatic and horrible marriage experience, after been heartbroken on his wedding day 20 years ago. Since that event, Danny has been using his wedding band to hook up with girls, just taking advantage of it living lie after lie.
Katherine Murphy is the only woman he trusts. She's his office manager and knows all of his secrets and women adventures. Katherine is a divorced woman, mother of two.
During a party night, Danny meets Palmer, a sexy, beautiful, young sixth grade math teacher. He hangs out with her all night (without his wedding band), having a great connection, but when they try to get each others phone number, Palmer finds Danny's wedding band in his jeans' pocket while she was looking for his business card.
When Danny believes Palmer is the perfect girl for him and that she might be the one, he tries to keep going out with her, but to do that, he needs to turn the wedding band into a fake marriage and gets Katherine and her children into the scene, making Palmer believe that Katherine and her kids are his wife and kids. That leads one lie to another one until it gets out of control.
At the end, when Danny and Palmer announce their wedding during their trip to Hawaii, Danny recognizes the amazing and unique connection he has with Katherine and that they might be more in loved with each other than they could ever imagine.
Just Go With It was just a refreshing and extremely funny film. It was not just about the funny plot, the amazing cast, but all the extra details that made the film really entertaining and easy to watch. We totally enjoyed and would recommend for anyone who enjoys this amazing cast and wants to have some good laughs.
By the way, you can say that Brooklyn Decker is a gorgeous girl, but even being that beautiful, when she's right next to Jennifer Aniston, she looks like out of Jennifer's league!

Synopsis: When three popular girls from different cliques discover they've all been dating the school stud, they band together to seek revenge. Despite the jerk's charm and ever-growing popularity, the girls cleverly scheme with the help of the inconspicuous new girl in town, to soil his reputation and break his heart.
Starring: Jesse Metcalfe, Sophia Bush, Brittany Snow, Ashanti, Arielle Kebbel
Directed by: Betty Thomas
U.S. Rating: PG-13
As a typical high-school revenge comedy film, John Tucker Must Die is not the worst, but not quite as good as other teen films from our list either. Offering few smile-worthy gags and goofy, romantic situations. It also offers a pretty simple, basic but entertaining script and cast. Sadly, it is as good as forgettable! I remember the first time I watched it, it was kind of goofy but entertaining, but few days later, I couldn't even remember most of the situations shown on this film. Jesse Metcalfe, who became more notorious on TV after his role as the teenage gardener on Desperate Houswives plays the role of John Tucker, the guys who has it all... fame, captain of the school basket ball team, not one... or two... but three girlfriends! who gets the revenge of his three ex-girlfriends with the help of the humble and charming girl who hasn't had a boyfriend ever before... Brittany Snow. It could be considered worth to watch on a long day or weekend at home if you have nothing else to do and Netflix can't offer anything better :)
What did I like from this movie?
1. Young and fresh cast, it is always good to watch a good cast of fresh young people that are actually good performers
2. There are some funny situations
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. We can't expect a really good material from these cheesy teen films
I would rate this movie with a 2/5

Well, I didn't see Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D, so it means that I couldn't get the best of the film. I must say that this film is focused on a very special audience: kids. I need to quote this because I watched the film not knowing it was a kids' film and I got so bored that I almost stopped the DVD after the fist half. Journet to the center of the Earth is a very colourful film with an entertaining plot for kids, loaded with tons of imaginary situations. If you're a big fan of Brendan Fraser and you don't mind to watch him in a kids movie, it is a really good option. If you're expecting to watch the film from an adult's perspective, don't waste your time, you won't get it.
What did I like from this movie?
1. I it quite interesting during the first half of the movie. The second half wasn't as good as the first one, bringing some crazy/nonsense situations
2. The Blu-Ray quality image is amazing
3. I didn't have the chance to watch it in theaters, but most of the reviews have quoted that it was really cool to watch the film in 3D
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Watching the movie from an adult's perspective, it was so weird and nonsense! You're supposedly in the center of the earth, but there's sun light, oceans and wind. Not amazed with these nonsense situations? Let's try having signal on your mobile! I'd like to sign up with that service provider!
