U.S. Rating: R

As a big fan of Will Smith's work, I consider that Enemy of the State is one of the best thrillers in his career. At least, this film is one of my top favorite ones in my Will Smith's favorite movie list. With such an amazing cast, Enemy of the State offers a great plot about Robert Dean, a labor lawyer who gets involved in a mortal persecution after carrying unknowingly some vital evidence of an assassination that incriminates high political profiles in Washington. With Will Smith's lead role and Gene Hackman's supporting role, Enemy of the State offers an interesting and controversial plot about how far should our governments get trying to invade our privacy and personal rights. Great suspense with some interesting action scenes and unexpected final.

What did I like from this movie?

1. Gene Hackman is the key role in this movie. This greatly played supporting role provides great suspense and answers some of the key questions, not just to the lead role, but to all viewers
2. The last scene, when the government agents, FBI, lead and supporting roles, government members and Italian gang meet at the Italian restaurant and everybody start shooting at each other
3. The way he was permanently watched and followed, really interesting

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. I think that if they'd play that film with today's technology, it might have not been as intriguing and entertaining as it was 11 years ago

I would rate this movie with a 4/5
