Such a really entertaining romantic comedy! As a huge Will Smith fan, I enjoy all his action, drama and comedy movies. Hitch is such an enjoyable romantic comedy with a great and sharply written script offering you the opportunity to frequently laugh-out-loud. Kevin James was so funny in this movie playing the role of the weird, insecure but great guy that wants to achieve the dream and love of his life (Allegra) but due to his insecure actions toward women he decides to contract Hitch's professional services. A great plot and story with so many bizarre and extremely funny situation that will entertain you from the first minute to the end of the movie, with a great romantic message at the end.
What did I like from this movie?
1. Extremely funny the scene when he goes with Sara (Eva Mendes) to the cooking competition and he's poisoned. I laughed so loud when he gets to the pharmacy and thinks it is nothing until he sees his face in the mirror. Even better... the scene after, when they're walking and he's drinking the medicine from the bottle with a straw, like a soda!
2. The time when hitch takes Sara for the first time to this museum to show her the details of her ancestor and she starts screaming and crying after she's being amazed for such a great discover. He feels like he scored with this smart move, but then everything went wrong. As he said, that situation went in a different way in his mind!
3. The dancing lessons and the moment when Albert (Kevin James) is dancing with Allegra in the club... hilarious!
4. The scenes about the kiss at the front door. The first one, when Hitch is teaching him the moves for the first kiss, and then the moment when it actually happens after the night out
5. Interesting that the movie starts being more like a comedy with some romantic scenes and ends as a 100% romantic movie with some comedy scenes
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. The end of the movie, with the dancing scene at the wedding. It was like too much, entertaining though. Many people would love it anyway
