Synopsis: High-school teacher Ben Wrightman is a good catch. He's charming, funny and great with kids. When he meets Lindsey Meeks, an ambitious business consultant whose spirit is as luminous as her beauty, their attraction is immediate. Sure, they have their differences. She's a workaholic; he loves his summers off. He lives and breathes the Red Sox; she doesn't know Carl Yastrzemski from Johnny Damon. But true love overcomes all--at least until Red Sox spring training rolls around. As Ben's beloved Bosox launch one of the most incredible seasons in baseball history, Ben and Lindsey must decide if they, as a couple, will strike out or fight to keep love alive through extra innings.
Starring: Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon, Jason Spevack, Jack Kehler, Scott H. Severance
Directed by: Bobby Farrelly, Peter Farrelly
U.S. Rating: PG-13
Coming from the Farrelly Brothers, I was expecting their typical humor in this movie, but it turned out such a light humor and I could really say that it is such a likable romantic comedy! The cast chosen for this movie was simply excellent. Drew Barrymore played a great role as the hard worker, single and successful professional woman, and Jimmy Fallon plays the perfect guy, a funny and honest, decent single school teacher with (apparently) nothing to hide, nut in the end, he is one of the craziest and most loyal baseball fans ever! A romantic comedy that matches both lives with nothing in common, and how they are able to adapt their lives, daily routines and even their most precious things in life (for Drew... her work and professional success, for Jimmy... his Baseball devotion) in name of love. A really funny movie, with lots of funny and romantic scenes and situations, and a great movie to watch it with your loved one.
What did I like from this movie?
1. Great cast. Drew and Jimmy were able to match perfectly in this romantic comedy
2. Jimmy Fallon was able to bring his spontaneous humor in every single scene, but what I really enjoyed were those scenes when he received the tickets for the new season and then he assigned the tickets among his friends
3. The scene when Drew is hit by a fault ball while she was working on her laptop and then she was all over the news
4. The moment when they have their first date, she was sick and Jimmy had to clean her vomit and take care of her that night
5. Definitely, the whole situation when she goes to visit her parents (her dad is facing the middle-aged crisis and dyed his hair, his dog doesn't recognize him) and they see Jimmy on TV as the wild, crazy Red Sox's fan (she didn't know how crazy he was about baseball until that moment
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Well, I couldn't say that it was something I dislike, but since this kind of plot is so rare coming from the Farelly Brothers, I could say that I missed some of their gross-out humor (this movie didn't need it though, at all!)
I would rate this movie with a 3/5

Enjoy it!... Watch it!
Love the humor in this movie. LOVE it!!
I could watch it anytime.
This is one of my favorite movies and Jimmy Fallon is one of my favorite actors!! I think he's adorable and funny - you can't get any better than that! ;) This movie kept me laughing throughout (except the part where he puts the little Red Sox "onesie" away after finding out she isn't pregnant. That part almost makes me cry every time!).
