I remember just few months after Borat hit the screens around the world, in 2006 the government from Kazakhstan criticized the movie and said it gave a really bad image and reputation to the country and its citizens. They tried to sue everyone and make it a big deal. At the end, the movie was such a big hit and success, Borat was a really outrageous character and the plot was one of the funniest and most controversial movies in 2006. When the media published the news of these complaints from the government of Kazakhstan, they also showed the real side of Kazakhstan, demonstrating the good things and modern side of this country. I personally watched a couple of these reports.

The funny thing is that, as well as Borat created so much controversial comments and complaints, it seems that Brüno has started to show its real and cruel controversial side too, attracting its own complaints and criticism.

When Brüno desperately tries to get famous and flies to Palestine to get an interview with a Terrorist leader and asks him to be kidnapped, trying this way to appear on TV around the world. Times magazine, in its online version, published today an interview with the famous "Terrorist, who certainly seems to be such a "nice family guy".

Here's part of the interview with Brüno:
And here's the interview provided by Time Magazine:

I've posted also few images from the outrageous Brüno promotion:
