Synopsis: Hazzard County boasts some of the most axel-busting back roads, hair-raising moonshine, and best-looking farm girls in all of Georgia--and the Duke boys enjoy all three--frequently. The Duke's family business is moonshine, and the boys' Uncle Jesse concocts the tastiest brew in Dixie. More often than not, the boys find themselves on the wrong side of the law as they race to make their deliveries, leading the sheriff's department on some truly wild goose chases in their infamous orange Dodge Charge, the General Lee. After a long day on the job, there's nothing like relaxing with an ice cold beer at Hazzard County's finest drinking establishment, The Boar's Nest, where Daisy waits tables. From time to time, an out-of-towner makes the mistake of getting a little too familiar with the most beautiful girl in Hazzard Country. They quickly find out, the hard way, that Daisy isn't just a pretty face--she kicks ass like a Duke; and with Bo and Luke in the mix, that usually means a good old-fashioned knock-down, drag-out bar brawl. But it's not all moonshine and farm girls these days---when Bo and Luke discover evidence that their neighbors' properties are being unlawfully seized by crooked commissioner Boss Hogg, their only chance to protect their hometown is to put the 'pedal to the medal' in a last-ditch scheme to save Hazzard County.

Should I start saying that this movie was an offense to the original TV Series? What attempted to be a fun adaptation of the famous TV Series from the late 70's, ended up with just a few laughs and lots of lost expectations. I was one of them! I remember the time when I saw the trailer for the first time and couldn't wait to watch it in a theater. Being a huge fan of the TV Series (I used to watch it with my dad!), I was expecting to watch a really entertaining action comedy plot. Having a "unique" cast (Jhonny Knoxville and Seann William Scott) we could see that it would be loaded with crazy dumb humor. And that's what we got! I could say that they must have had such an amazing time filming this movie! They saved the day for the movie. Jessica Simpson literally sucked - sorry for being so bold on this one ;) - Catherine Bach (the original Daisy Duke in the TV Series) was amazing and fun playing her role! and let me tell you something... she was 10 times hotter and cuter than Jessica Simpson! The plot was a little bit disappointing, since they could have had so much strong material from the original series to offer a really strong script and film. Anyway, just because I really like Jhonny Knoxville and Seann William Scott, I must say that I enjoyed the film, just watching these two guys having fun in this film.
What did I like from this movie?
1. General Lee! That car rocks!
2. Kevin Heffernan's role (Sheev) being around the whole movie just wearing his underwear
3. The driving scenes in the city, when they're running away from the police, good ones
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Jessica Simpson, she sucked
2. The plot was too weak
I would rate this movie with a 2/5

What did you like or dislike from this movie? What would you rate this movie?
Enjoy it!... Watch it!
I never wanted to watch this movie specifically because Jessica Simpson was in it. I don't think she is even a decent actress. She, in my opinion, should stay out of the movie industry.
