Movie Review: I Love You, Beth Cooper

Friday, December 4, 2009
Synopsis: A nerdy valedictorian proclaims his love for the hottest and most popular girl in school - Beth Cooper - during his graduation speech. Much to his surprise, Beth shows up at his door that very night and decides to show him the best night of his life.

Starring: Lauren London, Paul Rust, Lauren Storm, Jack T. Carpenter, Hayden Panettiere
Directed by: Chris Columbus
U.S. Rating: PG-13

I love you, Beth Cooper is just about a nerdy guy that works too hard to be it and a shallow sexy girl that works too hard to look like it. This film brings a weak plot with a pretty poor cast performance. I love you, Beth Cooper is a film that pretends to be funny, but it is not!

What did I like from this movie?

1. The movie trailer is actually better than the movie
2. One of the very few funny moments is when Rich sees the three jerks jumping the fence and he call them cyborgs
3. When Denis is being hit by the blue car

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. A pretty poor cast performance
2. A weak plot
3. Most of the jokes were so predictable

I would rate this movie with a 2/5
