Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, a street fighting movie with no fighting scenes! For all those who have ever played the game will know that Street Fighter is all about special powers and street fights. Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li brings the story of Chun-Li, the daughter of Xiang, a well connected businessman. Chun-Li dreams to be a famous pianist. Once they move to Hong Kong, Bison and his men kidnap Xiang and force him to work for Bison. Chun-Li has to grow up only with her mother. Few years later, she succeeds as a famous pianist and her mother dies due to a terminal sickness. Chun-Li receives a mysterious scroll written in ancient chinese. She plans to find revenge and see what happened with her dad. In the other hand, there is a couple of police detectives investigating the assasination of several businessmen. Everything gets interconnected when Chun-Li starts finding answers about the ancient scroll, Bison and her dad, and these two police detectives get closer trying to catch Bison and his men. I had great expectations about this movie, since its 1994 predecessor with Jean-Claude Van Damme was one of his worst movies in his personal filmography list. My honest opinion? This movie adaptation is an offense to one of the video games ever made.

What did I like from this movie?

Well, honestly, I didn't enjoy the movie, since it didn't accomplished none of my expectations

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. It is an action movie with just a couple of really lousy fight scenes
2. The detective couple were the worst cops ever!
3. The plot seemed to be so weak that loses so much details on the script

I would rate this movie with a 1/5
