And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what's possible behind the wheel.
Starring: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, John Ortiz
Directed by: Justin Lin
U.S. Rating: PG-13
One of my top favorite action franchises so far. Fast & Furious is the most recent sequel of The Fast and The Furious franchise, this time, bringing the original team. In this new sequel, Dom and his girlfriend (Diesel and Rodriguez) have been living in Dominican Republic, steeling trucks with gas to use it in their illegal racing bets with other racers. When Dom decides to run away from his girlfriend and friends for a short period of time, being chased by the local police, his girlfriend returns to the US and gets involved in a risky work, watched by the FBI, transporting drug between Mexico and the US for an important and dangerous drug dealer. When she gets killed, Dom returns to the US... even knowing that he can be caught by the police, just to find who killed his girlfriend and take revenge. Soon, Diesel and Walker get involved in a clandestine racing and get a place as a driver for the same drug lord who killed Dom's girlfriend. An action movie with lots of fast cars, speed, CGI effects and some bad acting moments. If you're a Fast and the Furious franchise fan, then it is a must. Totally recommended.
What did I like from this movie?
1. What I liked the most were the cars, especially the American muscle ones! The Torino, The Chevelle, The Chevy SS, among other great cars
2. The scene when Paul Walker is chasing the gang member and jumps out of the window to fall with the guy on top of a car
What did I dislike from this movie?
1. Too much CGI effects on this sequel. It was one of the great things in the previous sequels, not many CGI effects and more real driving racing scenes
2. Some really bad drama acting situations on this movie
I would rate this movie with a 4/5
