Synopsis: After re-locating from San Francisco to London, best-selling crime novelist Catherine Trammell once again finds herself on the wrong side of the law. Dr. Michael Glass, a respected London criminal psychiatrist, is brought in by Scotland Yard detective Roy Washburn to perform a psychiatrist profile and evaluation of Tramell following the mysterious death of a top sports star. Physically drawn to Tramell and mentally intrigued by her, Glass, against the advice of his mentor, Dr. Milena Gardosh, is quickly sucked into her web of lies and seduction. The professional boundaries between Glass and Tramell are obliterated when she uncovers his basic instincts. A deadly battle of wits ensues, climaxing as Glass faces a choice that will change both their lives forever.

U.S. Rating: R

According with most of the critics and important reviews made about this movie, it is considered one of the worst movies of all times, and I believe it. This sequel is another of those ones we should label as a big NO-NO! All of us know that Basic Instinct was such a big success in the 90's. That was exactly the movie that launched Sharon Stone's movie career to the stars, thanks to the famous scene when she crosses her legs in the interrogation room ;) Well, this new sequel brings a plot that I could consider a remake of the first plot. Nothing new, poorly directed, with a lousy story that has nothing to hide, nothing left to imagination, so predictable.

What did I like from this movie?

1. Sharon Stone :) The older she gets, the more beautiful she looks

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. Definitely a really bad choice for Sharon Stone. This kind of scripts won't help her to arise from the ashes and be the star that we knew in the 90's
2. The plot was so predictable and boring

I would rate this movie with a 1/5
