Here's the movie trailer for Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart's latest film, The Runaways. A drama/musical based on a true story in 1975. I'm not a big fan of Kristen Stewart, I believe her success is based on her amazing and extremely talented manager, the one who finds her these roles, since she has no talent at all as an actress. She's one of the worst actresses in Hollywood... ever! (just my humble and personal opinion), but maybe it will be ok, since it will be also led by Dakota Fanning, which is 1000 times better actress than Kristen.

Synopsis: The Runaways were the ground-breaking, all girl, teenage rock band of the 1970s. Friends, Joan Jett and Cherie Currie went from rebellious Southern California kids to rock stars of the now legendary group that paved the way for future generations of girl bands. Under the Svengali-like influence of rock impresario Kim Fowley the group became an outrageous success and a family of misfits. With its tough-chick image and raw talent, the band quickly earned a name for itself-and so did its two leads.

Tonight is the night! The 82nd Academy Awards Winners will be Announced on a ceremony that has been described this year as fresh and renovated, with some new details to make it more interesting and attract more audience. Critics indicate that there shouldn't be big surprises, due to the important Movie Awards ceremonies previous tonight's Oscars (including The Golden Gloves, Bafta, Cannes, Sundance, etc). Tonight we'll have some really big competitions, especially with Avatar, who got just 4 nominations (and won 2 of them) for the Golden Globes and now got 9 nominations for the Oscars. It will be really interesting to see the Best Leading Actress, since both of the top favorites actresses (Sandra Bullock & Meryl Streep) won a Golden Globe, but this time, they will be compiting on the same category.

The 2010 Oscar presentation will take place tonight Sunday, March 7, 2010, hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.

Here's my predictions for the 82nd Academy Awards Winners:

Synopsis: After a misunderstanding aboard an airplane that escalates out of control, the mild-mannered Dave Buznik is ordered by Judge Daniels to attend anger management sessions run by Doctor Buddy Rydell, which are filled with highly eccentric and volatile men and women. Buddy's unorthodox approach to therapy is confrontational and abrasive and Dave is bewildered by it. Then, after yet another mishap, Judge Daniels orders Dave to step up his therapy or wind up in jail. So, Buddy moves in with Dave to help him battle his inner demons. Buddy himself has no inner demons since he acts out at every opportunity and that includes making lewd comments about Dave's girlfriend Linda and goading Dave into confronting every slight, past or present, head-on. But Buddy finally goes too far and Dave must decide whether to crawl back into his shell or stand up for himself. Could it be that Buddy's confounding and contradictory treatment is just what the doctor ordered?

One crazy hilarious film that matched the perfect combination: an amazing cast, good direction and a pretty funny script.

Anger Management is about the story of Dave Buznik, a young executive who faced a traumatic experience being a little kid. He was embarrassed while he was trying to kiss the girl of his dreams when another boy dropped his shorts down in front of all his friends, people and especially, the girl. Now that he's an adult, he has some issues trying to kiss or show affection to his girlfriend in public.

During a trip for work, he faces an incident inside the plane and he needs to face the judge who obligates him to ger enrolled in an anger management program for 20 hours. He'll face some really crazy situations while he's involved in this program, especially when he faces some events that will make him feel like he's losing his girlfriend.

The end of all these crazy situations, program and events are finally related with a secret help his girlfriend has set to help him to take a step forward and control his old fears and traumas, and more important, show her the love he feels in public and feel comfortable to commit and propose her.

A hilarious plot with some amazing role performances played. It was actually funny to see that Adam Sandler was put in a second place, overshadowed by Jack Nicholson's hilarious role.

What did I like from this movie?

1. Jack Nicholson rocked in this film! He was simply hilarious!
2. A pretty funny plot with such an amazing cast!

I'd personally describe Legion as an action film with some suspense/horror content. The horror content is not scary at all, totally predictable.

It is a little bit confusing to be followed. I mean, the whole thing of watching the Archangel Gabriel fighting against a legion of angels sent by God after losing the faith in mankind. But I could say that it comes to second place once you start watching the film and enjoying the action/horror/suspense scenes and situations.

Since the first moment I watched the trailer, I knew it would be an entertaining film. I had the chance to watch it and I'm not disappointed. The film offers some really good effects and action sequences. The amazing cast, selected for this film, plus some remarkable scenes helped this simple and totally predictable supernatural plot.

I will totally recommend you Legion if you don't mind to watch a "OK" action/horror/suspense film supported by a great cast.

1. Gladys Foster... I loved her! That crazy old lady definitely stole the show on this film

1. As said before, I was a little bit confused about the plot, maybe because I was trying to relate the reason of God sending his Angels to destroy humanity and Archangel Gabriel fights them back to protect a child and a bunch of people in a bar in the middle of the desert

Synopsis: "The Tooth Fairy," also known as Derek Thompson, is a hard-charging hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's dreams, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" - bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes-doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

Let me just start saying that The Tooth Fairy is a film for kids. If you're a big fan of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's action films and you're expecting to get some in this comedy film, don't get too excited because, as I said, it is a kids film. If you don't mind to watch him on these roles, then you might really enjoy the film.

Now, if you watch the film from a grown-up perspective, it might be taken as a silly, cheesy and boring film. If you watch it from a kid's perspective, you'll enjoy the film.

I had the chance to watch it from this last perspective, from a childish, goofy and inoffensive perspective and I totally enjoyed it. The plot is really simple, cheesy, childish, goofy, basically unfunny (even though, there will be some moments and situations that will make you have some good laughs) but somehow... entertaining.

The film is about Derek, a famous hockey player who gets his nickname "The Tooth Fairy" and fame from beating other hockey players and breaking their teeth. He doesn't believe in fairy tails and loves spontaneously to be mean and bold with people, especially, with kids, destroying their dreams, goals and visions.

One night, he gets in bed and finds a magic ticket under his pillow. When he sits at the border of his bed and reads the content of the ticket, he'll notice that he's got magical wings and he's taken to a Tooth Fairy training center. He's been forced to be a Tooth Fairy for a week, since he's been a really mean and bad influence for everyone around him. He needs to learn everything related with his responsibilities and tools to perform his new job.

Derek needs to balance his professional life as hockey player, his personal life dating his girlfriend (one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, Ashley Judd. Ok, that's my personal appreciation. If you have read some of my previous reviews, you'll know that I have a crush on Kate Beckinsale, but she's in second place, since my major crush has always been on Ashley Judd), her two kids and his new responsibilities as a Tooth Fairy. Something that will stress him up and will make him do things that will push away those people he loves and cares the most, but at the same time, the new experience will help him to change his beliefs on Fairy Tails and miracles, helping everyone around him and especially, himself.

If you're looking for a goofy comedy and watch it with your kids, this is a really good option.

What did I like from this movie?

1. This film had such a great cast. How can't you love a film with Billy Crystal?!
2. There are a few good and funny lines
3. I totally enjoyed and laughed at the scene when he visited the second house and just started throwing memory powder to all the family members, got the tooth and threw the money on top of the kid in bed

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. I personally believe that The Rock had some fun working on this childish comedy film, but... come on... he's an action actor by nature, and that's what people love the most of him. He needs to go back to his great action roles
2. A goofy and cheesy simple plot with not much to offer

New Line Cinema has released the second movie trailer for the upcoming horror film, A Night on Elm Street. This remake of the famous horror film with Freddy Krueger will be released this next Spring. I remember watching and enjoying the original film and its sequels almost 20 years ago, so I might consider watching this remake.

A group of suburban teenagers share one common bond-- they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. Columbia Pictures has released a new international movie trailer for the upcoming film, The Karate Kid. Starring Jaden Smith (Will Smith's son) and Jackie Chan, the film will be released this Summer 2010. I'm totally sold after watching these recent movie trailer and great content shown!

Big Daddy could be considered the first good romantic comedy/drama film for Adam Sandler. After playing a few goofy films like Billy Madison, Happy Guilmore (which I DO love), The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, etc., Big Daddy was such a great romantic and sentimental comedy film.

I know Adam Sandler can be one of those likable actors or not. There's no grey lines with him. All the people I know either like him or not. But most of the people that have watched the film, totally loved it, no matter if they didn't like Adam Sandler. If you haven't watched the film yet, Big Daddy is a fresh and charming film that should be highly considered to be watched.

What did I like from this movie?

1. The good and fun sentimental father-son relationship shown between Adam & Cole
2. I really enjoyed the cast and script, it had the perfect combination
3. It had an amazing soundtrack selection

I'll try to be totally objective on this review. Harry Potter, sorry!... Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lighting Thief.

In a world where the Greek mythology gods and goddesses have kids with humans and they interact in between both worlds, Percy Jackson is Poseidon's son.

The story starts when Zeus and Poseidon meet at the top of the Empire State Building to discuss Zeus' missing lightning bolt, which he believes Percy, Poseidon's son, has stolen. Percy finds he can think best when underwater for 7 to 10 minutes at a time (of course, Poseidon was hs father and the god of the sea). His best friend is Grover, who is revealed as a sort of assistant demigod assigned to watch over him. His teacher is Mr. Brunner, who is actually Chiron, a centaur. (played by Pierce Brosnan) Percy thinks he is dyslexic, but it's only that his eyes instinctively turn English into Greek letters. After learning of his real identity, he goes off to Chiron's demigod training camp with Grover, and he becomes friends with Annabeth, a demi-goddess.

He loses his mother at the entrance of the camp and he decides to go to underground and help her to come back, after finding out that she lives and she's being kept there by Hades. He counts with the help of Annabeth and Grover. They will have to travel around the country trying to find three pearls which help them to return from hell once they get there. One of the best attractions among the gods is Medusa, played by Uma Thurman. She (and especially, her head) will play a key role in this film.

Everything rounds around the journey to underground and save his mother from hell. At the end, they have the chance to meet their parents (the gods) and go back to the camp, which I believe will be part of the future films related with this franchise and books.

What did I like from this movie?

1. I must be honest, the film brought some really amazing and entertaining CGI effects

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. It was like watching a lighter version of Harry Potter based in New York City. For those who don't know me, you should know that I'm an anti-Harry Potter person. I haven't read any of the books and have no intention of reading them in the future. I've watched 2 of the 6 films so far and I found them really boring. In fact, I felt asleep while I was watching one of them at the theater, something that never happened ever before! Yes, you might be saying... what?!?! But that's the truth. So, as I said, I felt like watching the American version of Harry Potter
2. The script and dialogues was really light and childish, ideally for kids
3. The cast performance wasn't as good as I'd expect from some of the great actors and actresses involved in this film

Here's the new movie trailer for Wesley Snipes' latest film, Game of Death. Wesley has paid his debt with justice and now he's back! The film seems to be loaded with tons of action scenes and will be released sometime in 2010. It looks good and I think we should give him a second chance to be the good action actor we used to enjoy some years ago.

Synopsis: Secret Ops agent Marcus is sent to Detroit to take out an arms dealer and the head of the hedge fund that is financing him. His CIA backup has other plans and turns on him and it’s a fight to survive in a hospital.
