I should state that this film is worth to watch for Tommy Lee Jones' lead performance. Even though it offers such an amazing cast, the script was simply ok. It was able to deliver some action and suspense, but I couldn't feel that special chemistry among the lead characters (Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes & Robert Downey Jr).

I could say that it is a variant of the film The Fugitive. Mark Sheridan (Wesley Snipes) is a special agent who's been framed in a confusing incident, accused of killing two asian diplomatic members. After facing an accident, Mark Sheridan is able to escape and have the chance to find, identify and caught the responsibles of the two homicides. On the other hand, Chief Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones), responsible for Mark Sheridan's custody does whatever it takes to caught him and put him in jail. He gets federal assistance with the company of agent John Royce (Robert Downey Jr) who is involved in the confusing incident, trying to get to Mark before Marshal Gerard does and, if possible... kill Mark.

As said, the film is worth to watch due to Tommy Lee Jones performance. It can be highly considered for an action movie on a quiet weekend at home.

What did I like from this movie?

1. Great cast involved. The cast saved the day, since the plot didn't offer much to the audience

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. I didn't feel that chemistry needed among the lead roles. That might be the reason that Tommy Lee Jones darkened the rest of the cast involved in this film

Synopsis: When troubled teen Michael returns home after a year at military school, he finds his mother, Susan, in love and his soon-to-be stepfather, David, has moved into their home. For David has a history of trying to create the perfect family. And each time, when it becomes apparent that perfection is impossible, David has a terrifying way of clearing the slate and starting over.

This re-make of Joseph Ruben’s 1987 suspense film was not as good as the original one, but it was totally entertaining though. The plot was pretty simple and showing some holes or gaps, but I must say that everyone involved in this film played their roles greatly and it actually made the difference. There were lots of action-suspense moments throughout the film that will keep you entertained. Most of the critics and reviews have merged in two important details: The plot wasn't strong enough, with so many loosed knots and with a very predictable end. I totally agree with their critics to the plot, but I think that the very last scene at the end of the film was totally unexpected, no matter how predictable was the hole ending fight and situation with the family.

If you're looking for an entertaining mild suspense-thriller film to watch on a quiet weekend night, you can rely on this one as one of your options.

1. I enjoyed the way the cast played their roles, it helped the simple plot to be more enjoyable that it actually was
2. Yes, Sela Ward is one of those few "beautiful and elegant" women I really like from Hollywood

We should start saying that the key success on this film was the chemistry among the lead characters. Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams played brilliant roles with such chemistry that made the film so worth to watch. Even though Sherlock Holmes has been categorized as an action-suspense-thriller film, we can't take seriosly Rober Downey Jr's version of Sherlock Holmes. He played the lead role with such a spontaneous comedy and crazyness that made Jude Law (Dr. Watson) look like the real smart and mature detective on this story. An action junkie, fight lover, and extremely focused on details, this new version Sherlock Holmes brings two hours of action, suspense and lots of good laughs. The plot is entertaining, with no gaps, the story let them work the idea of an immediate sequel, as it is actually happening at this moment :)

Sherlock Holmes is a film that either on the big screen, DVD or Blu-Ray will offer you such an amazing entertaining time. Totally recommended!

Most of the reviews and comments about this romantic comedy are as tough as they can be, and I must agree with them in some way. With such an amazing cast, we could have expected more from the script and story. Sandra Bullock gave her best and saved the day with her leading role as a crossword puzzle constructor for a local news paper who is incredibly smart but really weird at the same time and falls in love with Steve (Bradley Cooper) on their failed first blind date. Bradley Cooper played an ok role, since his role didn't demand much from him, Thomas Haden Church stole the show with his funny role as the irresponsible, immature and dumb journalist.

Most of people have been really tough on this one, but I would say that is a really good option for a lazy afternoon or night weekend at home. I'm sure you'll have some good laughs.

What did I like from this movie?

1. The scenes when they meet for their blind date and she jumps on him inside the car, when she finds Steve at the hospital and the scen when she falls in the hole, really funny!
2. I really enjoyed Thomas Haden Church's role, his dumb and immature competition with the journalist from the other tv news station and how he gets his anchor role

1. With such an amazing cast, the script should have been way much better

Following her previews romantic comedy films (What Women Want, Something's Gotta Give and The holiday), Nancy Meyers showed us once again her unique talent as a screenwriter, director and producer with the film It's Complicated.

It's Complicated is the story of Jane (Meryl Streep), a divorced mother of three grown kids who finally has found the perfect balance in her family, single life, business & professional career. She's maintained a friendly relationship with her ex-husband Jake (Alec Baldwin), the man who cheated her with a younger girl, the same one he married after their divorce. During a family weekend in New York celebrating their younger son's graduation, an innocent meal turns into something extremely complicated, an affair! This initial encounter led them to few other encounters. While Jane tried to avoid this complicated situation (at least for her), Jake let all those his repressed feelings for Jane to be released and gets to the point of being a stalker (well, sort of!). While Jane and Jake debate with their personal feelings and complicated situation, Adam, Jane's architect gets in scene. Jane has the chance to know him better, finding so many similarities in their lives. Adam could be considered that kind of person that is in the wrong place at the wrong time. After facing a traumatic divorce, he's trying to avoid the situation that he finally had to face... being in the middle of two people that were meant to be together, no matter what.

A really interesting and funny plot supported by such a great and funny cast. Nancy Meyers worked in a very smart way not just the script, but the direction of the film, giving to all its viewers a pretty entertaining story. It is totally recommended!

What did I like from this movie?

1. Jake (Alec Baldwin) is so cocky that was perfect for the role
2. Meryl Streep, as usual, played a precious and enjoyable role
3. The plot was so well written and directed by Nancy Meyers
4. I totally laughed with some of the quotes and dialogues in this film, great script!
5. The scenes at the hotel, the chat session in the bedrooms and the fertility center

What did I dislike from this movie?

1. I didn't like that Adam (Steve Martin) had to end alone at the end of the film, being "the nice guy" on this film
